About Global Resilience Foundation Inc.
At Global Resilience Foundation Inc., our business model is built on a foundation of empowerment, sustainability, and local leadership. We operate as a nonprofit organization committed to shifting the paradigm of disaster preparedness and response from reactive, external aid to proactive, community-driven resilience.
We generate impact through a training and capacity-building model that equips local leaders, organizations, and institutions at every level, community, municipal, regional, and national, with the tools, strategies, and confidence needed to prepare for, respond to, and recover from both natural and manmade disasters.
Our scalable framework leverages existing community assets, fosters cross-sector collaboration, and strengthens the operational capabilities of nonprofits and local governments. Revenue to sustain and grow our programs is sourced through strategic partnerships, grants, individual and corporate donations, and fee-for-service training and consulting where appropriate.
By investing in people, processes, and preparedness at the local level, we build resilient systems that reduce dependency on delayed or uncertain external support. In doing so, we create long-term, self-sustaining resilience that protects lives, preserves resources, and strengthens communities before, during, and after a disaster.
Mission Statement
To empower communities to anticipate, prepare for, and withstand future challenges by equipping local leaders with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to build sustainable, asset-driven resilience programs. These programs reduce reliance on uncertain outside aid and strengthen community self-reliance
